About Wilco Distributors
History
In 1971, Don Willis found a rodent bait formula to help with managing pocket gophers. What started off as a hobby in helping his neighbors, friends, and family soon became a business idea after gaining popularity, product success, and high demand. Don registered his company, Wilco Distributors, Inc. as an official company in 1973.
As business continued to grow, Don decided to move his company to Lompoc, CA, where he could expand in manufacturing and warehousing capabilities. In 1992, Brent Hazen became president and helped to grow the business, adding new partnerships and a new Ground Squirrel product line to the company in 1998.
In 2000, Wilco moved the facility and warehouse across the street from their company to a larger office and warehouse. Wilco developed a website to support online sales in 2010 and in 2014, Wilco added another item to their Ground Squirrel product line, the Wilco Ground Squirrel Trap.
In 2016, Blake Hazen became president of Wilco Distributors, Inc. and helped to grow the business even more by adding new and innovative products, including Wilco Rat and Mouse Bait (Wax Block and Soft Bait), Wilco Slug and Snail Gel, and Wilco Live Collapsible Traps.
The company continued to grow and Wilco added an additional warehouse in Texas in 2017. In 2019, Wilco Distributors moved out of Lompoc, CA to Glendale, AZ for a bigger office and warehouse facility, which is their headquarters today.

Wilco And The Community
Wilco believes it is their duty to give back to the community, whether it is through donating time or money. Helping the community to be stronger is very important, which is why Wilco participates in numerous charities, from larger sponsorships to the smaller ones.
4-H, Future Farmers of America (FFA), and Grange
Since 1980, Wilco Distributors, Inc. has been a sponsor for the Santa Barbara County Fair. We love to invest in programs that help kids learn the importance of responsibility while developing strong work ethic and grooming them for brighter futures.
Local High Schools
We are a proud sponsors of local high school sports, clubs, and art programs.
Youth Activities
We are a proud sponsor of youth activities such as Toys for Tots, various church programs, youth sports and art programs, and more.
MDA
We are a proud sponsor of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
